IFE is the leading institution when it comes to testing and characterization of batteries in Norway. We offer an extensive equipment portfolio and decades of experience in the field. The cells are stored and cycled in controlled temperature chambers, larger cells are placed in fire proof testing and storage rooms. Accelerated testing and access to advanced life time models are available.
For small-scale testing, such as coin cells and small pouch cells:
- 350 test channels (0-5 V, 0-5 A)

For larger, commercial cells:
