As Indra Navia is the worlds largest air navigation service provider and their products are critical to safe air transportation across the world, delivering safe and secure products and services is the main aim of INDRA. To have this certification is a way to prove this determination. INDRAs goal was to have the certification by the autumn of 2025, which was very ambitious.
We gratefully acknowledge the broader IFE team whose expertise and collaboration helped ensure the project’s success. Ankur Shukla and John E. Simensen were closely involved throughout the entire process, with Stine Aurora Mikkelsplass and Per-Arne Jørgensen providing valuable support on specific activities. Ankur Shukla, a certified ISO/IEC 27001 auditor, served as the project lead for IFE. John has worked with INDRA on information security projects before and knows the domain, the company and the people. Ankur and John initiated the project last autumn with a risk analysis to determine priorities. They then developed a work plan and divided responsibilities between INDRA and IFE. As INDRA built competence, they assumed project leadership while IFE took on a supporting role.
INDRA received the certification in August—two months ahead of schedule—demonstrating their strong commitment and resource investment, with IFE providing key support throughout the process. We are proud to have been an important part of INDRA reaching ISO-27001 certification ahead of time.
