IFEs nukleære virksomhet i Halden (sektor NUK-Halden) er omorganisert for å være rustet for fremtidige utfordringer knyttet til dekommisjonering. Sektoren har behov for å bygge opp kompetanse, samt styrke kapasiteten, til å jobbe med HMS-relaterte oppgaver, inkludert risikovurderinger, samt overvåking og oppfølging av forbedring- og avvikssaker. Avdeling Sikkerhet og konsesjon har som mål at sikkerheten ved Haldenreaktoren til enhver tid ivaretas ved at det uføres nødvendige sikkerhetsanalyser (SAR, sikkerhetsdokumenter, risikovurderinger), samt at IFEs ledelsessystem, gjeldene lover, forskrifter og konsesjonsbetingelser følges.
Avdelingen har ledig stilling som HMS-ingeniør med ansvar bl.a. for å følge opp at sektorens systematiske HMS-arbeid og -rutiner blir etterfulgt, at nødvendige rutiner blir utarbeidet, og sørge for at arbeidet gjennomføres i henhold til nasjonale retningslinjer og IFEs interne rutiner for HMS-arbeid, samt gjennomføring av risikovurderinger.
Vi søker derfor etter en motivert og strukturert person med stor interesse for HMS og risikovurderinger.
- Naturfaglig utdanning på bachelor/ masternivå.
- God kjennskap til lover, forskrifter og relevante kvalitetsstandarder; særlig Internkontrollforskriften; Arbeidsmiljøloven, ISO 9001/14001.
- Kjennskap til ISO 31000, NS 5814 og lignende standarder er en fordel, men ikke et krav.
- Erfaring med og interesse for gjennomføring av risikovurderinger.
- Kunnskap om nasjonalt og internasjonalt regelverk for nukleære anlegg (del av intern opplæring).
- God skriftlig og muntlig fremstillingsevne på norsk og engelsk.
- Strukturert og ansvarsbevisst.

The Department of Battery Technology at IFE has a vacant researcher position (2 years with the possibility for a permanent position). We are increasing our activity in research and development of energy materials where we collaborate closely with Norwegian and foreign industry partners as well as with internationally recognized research organizations.
Renewable energy technologies and especially the battery market, are growing fast. Both need new energy materials. Our Materials Development group in the Battery Technology Department is producing and characterizing energy materials, directly used in new lithium-ion batteries or adjacent markets.
We are seeking a person who can strengthen this team, take part in the development of energy materials and generate new projects within battery technology.
- PhD or equivalent academic degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, process engineering or similar field
- An experimentalist view: Ability to plan and perform experiments, analyse results, summarize and conclude
- Experience working with lithium-ion battery technologies is a plus
- Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Expertise within one or more of the following topics will be beneficial:
- Advanced characterization of energy materials
- Experimental reactor research and development
- Understanding of battery materials and/or silicon-based materials
- Experience in project generation and management, preferably from EU- or Norwegian/Scandinavian funding system
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (the department’s working language is English)
The department of Risk, Safety and Security (RSS) conducts research, development and consultancy in risk, safety and security related to digital systems in critical infrastructure. With a long history in providing research on Software Dependability and Digital Instrumentation and Control (D&IC) within the nuclear field, the specialists in the department is today involved with competence on Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) in projects within both transport, oil and gas, energy and critical infrastructure. The Department has an increasing portfolio of projects in information- and cyber- security. The Department has established a Cybersecurity Centre for industrial control systems at IFE in Halden. The Centre is developing infrastructure and competence for providing cybersecurity assessment and training services to stakeholders involved in developing and operating critical operational technologies.
- Knowledge in information- and cyber-security or computer science
- Knowledge of control systems for critical infrastructure
- Good knowledge of different operating systems, firewalling and networking are preferable
- Knowledge of work in teams and projects are preferable
- Bachlor´s degree or similar within security, computer science or technical subjects
- Interest in combining work within cybersecurity with an education towards Master in cyber security
