Fields of expertise:
Clean Energy Generation and Chemical Processes: Development of advanced materials for CO2-free processes (hydrogen and hydrogen/electricity generation with CO2capture processes). Design, simulation and optimization of chemical processes (thermal processes – pyrolysis and gasification – on fossil fuels and waste materials, adsorption of atmospheric contaminants on solid sorbents, heterogeneous catalytic reactions for cleaning of flue-gas containing hydrocarbons). Development of new applications for low-value materials and tailings from mining and mineral industry.

Professional membership and merits :
1 granted patent and 1 filed patent. Referee for a number of international journals including Elsevier publications (e.g. Fuel Processing Technology, Chemical Engineering Journal,…), Pakistan Journal of Scientific and Industrial Research, etc.

Member of the Spanish Carbon Group (GEC)
